3. Sand to bare wood and thoroughly remove loose wood fibers, paint,
saw dust and dirt.
4. Check that wood moisture content is below 18% using a moisture

contact with exposed wood surface.
7. “ Wet-out” the bare and sanded wood with Prime-A-Trate using a
disposable brush. Mix 2 parts of A component to 1 part of B
component. Allow 10 minutes for penetration, maximum of 30 minutes.
Remove excess material with paper towel before application of
Flex-Ease.
8. Apply a thin layer of Flex-Ease to pre-treated wood to ensure
optimal adhesion to the wood.
9. Fill the repair completely to a smooth and even finish.
Plexiglass™ strips can be used to aid in the repair to help create a
smooth surface.
10. After curing (12 hours @ 70 degrees F.), sand the repair even
and smooth.
11. Remove all sanding dust before application of 2nd coat (if
required) of Flex-Ease. Always sand between coats. Always sand
before painting.
